Description

Pinmar, the leading paint applicator for superyachts worldwide, is hiring a Project Coordinator for its projects in Barcelona.

Location

This is a permanent position based in Barcelona, Spain. All candidates must have the right to work in Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Plan projects with project manager
  • Manage resources, access to the shipyard, travel, boost working hours
  • Provide support with the management of materials, transport, etc.
  • Coordinate and organize both the work team and the scheduling of daily tasks
  • Supervision of the project ensures its correct development
  • Manage the budget
  • Collaborate with the management of paperwork associated with work: daily reports of both production and workers
  • Meet quality standards
  • Meet agreed deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with the safety and environmental standards of the project
  • Solve the possible unforeseen events that arise according to the company’s policy
  • Replace the project manager when he is not present
  • Prepare internal and customer reports

Engineering studies and previous experience in leading/coordinating projects in the maritime sector are a must.

SAP ByDesign Business Consultant - Palma

Description

GYG Ltd seeks an internal full-time Business Consultant for its SAP Business By Design implementation.

Location

This is a permanent position based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. All candidates must have the right to work in Spain. Some assistance with relocation costs is available, subject to prior approval.

Responsibilities

  • Stabilise and support functionality already implemented, initially in Financial Accounting and Reporting.
  • Assist the design of Financial Controls, Budgets and Approvals and take ownership of implementing and supporting them.
  • Assist the design and implementation of Project Management including Time recording, Leave management, Travel and expenses, Planning and Forecasting.
  • Develop understanding of SAP related technologies, e.g. OData, Build Process Automation and Machine Learning.
  • Participate in future integrations internally with Microsoft 365 and externally with Customers, Suppliers, 3PL providers and eCommerce.

Profile

  • High level of conversational and written English. Spanish language skills are valuable but not essential.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
  • Proactive person with experience of working with stakeholders in the business including operations in multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent understanding of business processes.
  • At least 2 years hands-on experience implementing and operating SAP ByDesign including access control and approvals.
  • In-depth understanding of all ByDesign Finance related work centres including procurement, inventory valuation and Financial closing.
  • Knowledge of other ByDesign areas will be appreciated, in particular:
    • Order-to-Cash (Project-Based Services)
    • Project Management module
    • External and inter-company procurement of materials and services
    • Intra-company Stock Transfer
    • Inter-company Project Time and Expenses
    • Materials in Projects
    • Time and Labour Management
    • Workforce Administration
  • Broader skills that will be appreciated include web design, programming, project management, security and technical authoring.

Rates of pay and salary ranges are dependent upon experience, qualifications/certifications, and training.

  • Close the cash till each evening and taking any necessary steps to identify and correct errors where possible
  • Keep the shelves in the shop neat tidy and full, coordinating with the warehouse in Barcelona where necessary to get stock
  • Assist with purchase requests to the purchasing department where required
  • Perform other duties related to Barcelona sales as may be required from time to time

Profile

  • Spoken and written English and Spanish is a must
  • Knowledge of the marine industry would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of paint and paint-related products would also be an advantage
  • Good time keeping and a responsible attitude
  • A friendly disposition, able to talk with clients, offer technical advice and resolve customer queries
