Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention


We are looking for a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention to join our team in a maternity replacement position. The selected person will be responsible for managing and coordinating preventive activities, ensuring compliance with current regulations.


This is a permanent position based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. All candidates must have the right to work in Spain.


  • Be part of the company’s joint prevention service.
  • Manage preventive activities at different levels according to Law 31/1995 and development regulations.
  • Coordinate medical examinations and manage especially sensitive workers.
  • Provide preventive training at different levels.
  • To control working conditions in fixed installations and temporary projects.
  • Manage non-compliances in preventive matters and supervise the delivery, maintenance and use of individual protection equipment.
  • Analyse and evaluate risks.
  • Act as own APQ inspector.
  • Train forklift and lift truck operators.
  • Maintain contact with clients in the area of PRL.
  • Collaborate with the environmental department in basic waste management.
  • Follow-up of activities according to the annual program.
  • Manage and control subcontractors.

Candidate Profile:

  • Higher education.
  • Specific training: Superior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (3 specialties) or Medium Level Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention.
  • Valuable experience in the nautical or construction sector.
  • Valuable experience in other preventive organisations as a PRL Technician.
  • Transversal knowledge in waste management from an environmental point of view.
  • Theoretical/practical knowledge in scaffolding analysis, working at height and working with chemical agents.


  • Dynamic and autonomous decision maker.
  • Good communication and relationship skills with clients and workers.
  • Self-critical and proactive ability to improve work instructions.
  • Preferably with communication skills in English.

Working conditions:

  • Full working day: 8:00 – 17:00.
  • Maternity replacement contract with a minimum duration of 6 months.
  • Possibility of travel to other places in Spain or abroad.
